i was watching this live show and i remember the days where i sang in the benny hinn choir alongside with Paul Wilbur... Yes, the man who is singing in this video... there are other songs like"nothing is impossible for GOD", "He touched me", and "Days of Elijah".. However, I like this song especially because it is so energetic!!! LOVE IT!!!! Yes we sang all three songs together just like how you see it... Of course, the orchestra and the dancers were not there, but it was still good... It was already an experience for me... Its like a once in a life time thingy... Those who have not sang for the choir must go man!!!

dog's ice cream?? heard of it before??

i was reading the papers today and i saw a particular interesting article in the german papers... Have you heard of dog's ice cream? I mean, WHA!!! The dogs are enjoying life these days!!!

Gone were the days where the chinese in the past used animal names like dog and pigs to laugh at people.. Dogs were once seen as the second lowest form of animal after pigs, because dogs are able to beg for food without even doing anything... hey, just to let you know, i love dogs... I am saying this because of the article i am going to share with you!!!

There is this particular guy from Austria who feels that there is a need to make the dogs eat ice cream, however, the ice cream that we eat are too sweet for the dogs to handle, thus this smarty pants has came up with a special ingredient for the dogs. The brand of the ice cream is called "Doggismo - Gelato per Cani"< = dont ask me what does that mean... Its in italian!!

There are three flavours to this doggy ice cream: Rice, Vanille and Soya respectively. Some people have went to taste the ice cream and the comments are : it is not sweet, but the flavour is strong enough to be able to taste it...

I know it is not really a thing in Singapore for everyone to own a dog, but in Germany, almost everyone has a dog! Big or small, it doesnt really matter. The thing is, whereever u go, u can see a dog. You see it in a train, in Shopping Centers, and even in toilets!!! Not forgetting, the germans love their dog so much, they will do anything to pamper their beloved dogs. My teacher has two dogs... They are so well maintain that they are of competition breed standard. WHAAAA!!!!!

We did something in class today. Well, it wasnt really meant to be how we wanted our future partners to be, but the text was very interesting... According to the german text i have gotten today, most of the couples that came to pass happen to have the same list altogether..(p.s., the below is just for fun. If anyone reading it happens to have the same list as me, please, for goodness sake, dont take it so serious!!!)

Understanding and tolerant. It is really sick to see ladies acting like shopping and having fun is all there is in their world. What guys really want is not some ladies coming up to them, pull out their hands and "begging" for cash... ARGH!!! sucks!!!! i hate this kind of ladies!! Ladies should be like a lady, able to keep themselves upright even when the situation is not right. Although i have to admit that some guys too have a big problem when staying calm and upright when the situation arises, but that's how things suppose to be. GOD made woman out of man because HE knows that man cannot survive by themselves. The woman has always this healing touch to calm a man down, and that's what it all about the meaning of two becoming as one.

LOYAL!!!! This is like that most important thing to me, if i am going to find a future wife. This lady ( remember, i said lady.. i din say girl..) should be with me through thick and thin. That would be very good, but no possessiveness may be used on a man. We will feel that our ego have been drawn away and we can no longer keep hold of why a man is called a man.. LOYAL... Just like what was promised on the day of the wedding pledge.

ATTRACTIVENESS!!! I am a guy, and of course i would like to have an attractive wife... Hey, but i am not taking about just the outwardly appearance. I really like a girl, whom i can see her inward beauty ( that's not when she takes off her clothes!!!)... Someone who is sweet and passionate for GOD, yet remaining her virtue as a lady... wa, sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!

We must be able to communicate. We share the room for talks, discuss everything together, and because of that, we are able to fall deeper in love with one another. I will never see the day, where after my marriage, my level of relationship for my lady will drop. Although it is very hard to say now, whether i will be the first one to break off a relationship or not, but one thing's for sure.... I will stay loving, no matter what extent it may be....

14 Juli 2007 TGIS thank GOD its SATURDAY!!!

I had a very weird dream last night. It was about me being totally Primary School again. I could not believe it. I was surrounded my people telling me that I must go to Primary School, but my body and my soul tell me something else. I was like a uni Student trapped in a primary school body, and it felt really funny! So there I was, studying my primary school english, while mugging my super difficult Engineering Maths at the same time... Stupid right?

Herr Chang came by and look for me yesterday. We ate like never before. We just went on an eating frenzy, buying whatever we can find in "Tengelmann" and eat it immediately. I was the cook, as usual, so i prepared Pork Steak( half raw), two hashbrowns and a french onion soup. It tastes really good, although I must admit, the french onion soup tastes very salty! It doesnt really matter to us, because we ended up eating ice cream and drinking orange juice to quench that salt thirst. HAHAZ.... enjoy leh!!!

We spent the next half of the day watching "kang xi lai le" on youtube... it was really good, but apparently he has to leave halfway through because he has to go to Hamburg at around 2 in the morning the next day.. Oh well... However, the fun did not end for me.. I ended spending the next half of the day watching bleach on youtube...

Stella and the rest are going for the Munich trip.. It is not really that expensive, but i have decided not to go because I have something more important to do on that particular day. ARGH!!!! so tired!! I also dunno why!!!

Today is my day for eating.. I just wanna eat for today.. let me show you some photos what I have done today...:)

This is my lunch... Yes, its a little difference from the other days because I suddenly have this very strong erge to eat waffles.. dont ask me why... I had four pieces of Waffles and a little minced meat. It is kindda like salty and sweet, together in one go. It tastes pretty good though:)

I brought my bowl out. Chu Hyong was helping me with the curry. That leaves me some time to take some photographs.

My rice... See those black things on top of the rice? They are called thyme. They taste really good and i heard that they are very good for the brains.

My CURRY!!! How I adore my creation!!! Oh ya! It tasts really good!!

As you can see, i have invited my friends over for dinner.. A german( the guy), a south korean( you know who), a french( the lady sitting across the german) ... I cooked the curry by myself, prepared the rice with a little bit of thyme, and the food was totally awesome!! I cant wait to tell ya, what have I actually added inside of the rice, but it taste really good.. The chicken wasnt overcooked, the sauce was just right and every one enjoyed the food! That is the most important part i guess!

I just woke up from a nap. Apparently, I was sleeping, when Sayuki and Chu Hyung came to my door and woke me up. They gave me a self made "mua-chee", or the Japanese would call it, "muchi", the Koreans call it "Dong". Anyway, that is not the point. They were very nice. They wrapped up the mua -chee and send it to my doorstep.(touched!!!) this is what it looks like. Remember, they made it, they did not buy it..

I just finished watching online service. I know its like 2000hrs in Singapore, but I really have to blog... ARGH!!!



While i was singing the worship song FIRST, i was reminded of the valentine's day in Church ( or was it valentine's day? the part where PB went to take the flowers?) Couples were singing the song FIRST to their spouse, and the lovey dovey feeling was in the air. Everything starts to show up while worshipping GOD. I suddenly remembered why did I do the singlehood vow. Everything was being clarified when Pastor was preaching, saying about how he has to build a convenant with GOD because he has a weakness for drinking. I remembered why did i do my singlehood vow.. I will list down the reasons why..



It was true.. I did like someone before singlehood vow( i dont deny it). I was pretty close to her and stuff like that.. So, feelings for her was building really fast. Although I liked her for at least a year, there was this particular incident that kick start the whole liking thingy. It was crazy.. I did not know why, but i became very interested in her life. September kicked in really fast, and then came december.. I knew i had to do something, because i am going to Germany. I cant tell her that I like her now. Its impossible.. So i bottled up everything to myself, decided to call her less then frequent and finally, go on a singlehood vow..

I felt really selfish, going on a singlehood vow.. I have no idea how does she felt about this whole idea of singlehood vow, but I do not want to ruin her life. Well, eventually she found out about the singlehood vow, but i mean, i have already made a pledge with GOD.

Whether i can be with her or not is another thing altogether. I wonder why GOD reminded me of her, but if GOD has reminded me or her, there must be something to do with her. I hope, and i pray:) After I made the pledge, I kindda like make really insensitive mistakes which never happens before. It was stupid, and i dont really want to talk about it ever again.:(

Put some new stuff in my room... Making it look nicer... i guess??

2323 on a TGIF

I just cooked curry!!! Singapore curry!! Let me tell you what have i done..

1) Chopped up onions. Use a little bit of Olive Oil. Stir fry the onions till flavoured.
2) Add two tablespoons of curry powder with meat. About five seconds later, add water, but not too much.
3) When the water is boiling, add the whole lot of yoghurt into the curry.
4) Stir it until the whole curry thingy is evenly distributed.
5) Add thyme. When it is about to be served, add a little bit of flour mixed with water.
6) Add milk.

I cant wait to show you, how does my end product looks like! It is super! Super delicious, super tasty, and both the taiwanese and i cannot help but to finish the whole curry up as soon as possible! Maybe next time ba! I will remember to bring my camera along with me when i am making curry!!! hahaz

Yawn!! Felt so lazy today because it Friday!! I just talked to my parents for about 1hr 30 mins... It wasnt meant to be that long, but i just felt that i need to talk to them about somethings... you know, SOME things...heez

Class was just the same, everyone came to class feeling super tired. Stella has went back to Italy( lucky girl!), Jesús is going Karlsruhe, Wilfrid is already in Karlsruhe, and here i am, in my room.. All I could thing of right now is whether i should go for a jog later, or should i just cook dinner and get myself ready for quiet time... You should know what happens after quiet time:)

ARGH!!! BORING BORING BORING!!! Or wait.. Should i just spend my next half of my day studying? Maybe it would be more fulfilling:) ai ya, but i just feel very lazy.. its not as cold as yesterday, but i did not sleep very well last night. I tried not to think about her, but she just kept popping up in my mind.. Do you know how pop up books function? You open a page, and pictures just come popping out. Yes, that was how it was like... crap...

Donnerstag??

ich war einmal, dass ich Fleißig war... Once upon a time, i was hardworking... i was ok!! but that is not the point.. hahaz, okie.. i am crapping..

i went to replenish my supplies of dark chocolates today at penny markt. Jesús and I went together to Penny Markt, when a group of guys were cycling directly infront of us. We were of cos super angry, but at the end of the day, all we could do was to give very loud comments in German, hoping that they could be more considerate to get out of our way the next time round such things happen.

Da Yong came over to visit me just now. Yesterday, Hsiao Feng came over. Haa!! Am i having some United Chinese Meeting or something like that? I was talking to Da yong all about the history of China and i was actually astonished to find out from him that the chinese in China actually is very proud of the chinese in Singapore (*.*) He told me that the Chinese from China would do anything just to come over to Singapore(<= no wonder right!! so many chinese nationals!!) However, that was not all.. While talking to him, he kept on talking about his girlfriend, whom he has already broken up with before he came over to Germany.. He reminded me of a girl whom i once loved so dearly... Well of course i din tell her, but all I could think of at that time was her beautiful face... haiz... anyway, the talk made me feel that I should uphold the pride of being a Singaporean..

I just found out that i have been a very good listening ear over here in Germany. My friends would just pour everything to me, trying to tell me anything that is bothering them. I am aso very happy to hear their problems, because it woudl relieve me from MY problems!! Well, it would made me forget my problems... wa!! German is getting harder and harder each day... However, life has to go on... I am still pulling through...

I cannot stand that vietnamese guy anymore... At first i thought that he was a very nice guy, although nervous, but i feel that i can make friends with him. I became really close to him, until the day he tried to correct my german...( BIG MISTAKE!!!!) He enjoys borring me with his big german grammatic theory, and trying to correct my German sentence when it is already corrected! And the thing is, his sentence, those that he has corrected, does not really make sense.. argh!!! and not just that, he enjoys coming really close up to me to discuss answers with me... I dont mind that, unless when he has bad breath!! oh my!! I really have to hold my breath while listening to him.. I dont know what to do... Should I recommend him mints or should I ask him to brush his teeth?? I wished i have changed seats, but I guess the seats are already fixed. I cannot do anything now!

I did some vocals.. My neighbours told me that i can sing( flattered!!), so i sang a small portion of michael bublé's "everything" for them to listen... I have also done a little recording for myself, so that i can reflect on my vocals on how to improvise it..

Again... 17 celsius for sommer... its freezing here... like... really...

mittwoch... very boring one too

i still cannot forget how soundly sayuki was sleeping in class during the lesson, and i was astonished that the teacher did not took notice of it... I was also very tired, but i tried by best not to sleep... If only i took some photos of her sleeping!!! hahaz

Today is a typical day after school. I have decided to give myself a break from the library and come back and give myself a break from all that dication i have been doing the past few days... anyway, can u see my lunch?? two yoghurts and a bowl of rice... The rice taste really good man!! I used olive oil together with bacon, lettuce, onion, and spring onion together with a little bit of chilli. For flavouring, i added thymian...( i dunno wad is it called in english)... It tastes really good, and according to my friend, i can improve my memory if i continue to add thymian in my food before i eat...

My teacher just told us something very shocking... He told us that Mannheim( the place where i am staying) used to be a really wacked up place because of the WWII. Almost all of the buildings are like totally wacked up, and most of them have to be removed because they are classified unsafe for people to stay in. The Mannheim now is actually untouched since the WWII... It is actually not very interesting to look at, as compared to heidelberg...

i am sure you have seen this picture.. Other than this castle, the rest of Mannheim is very modern... Very not Germany... The Germany i know is very slow paced... So slow that the songs on the radio are very old fashioned... Cars on the streets are hardly new cars( ya, singapore is different rite? Old cars are fast extinct in Singapore!)

After revision, i would be meeting up Sayuki and Hsiao Feng for some music!! Hsiao Feng plays the piano, Sayuki sings, i watched... hahaz!!

17 degrees for sommer!!!

yepp, i kindda feel alittle guilty for not updating my blog despite having my friends trying to encourage me to update them about my life in Germany. All those excuse about me busy is true okie!! However, I just want to update my life in Germany.:P

Today is a day i wont wanna remember. It is really cold, i think it is a little too cold for a typically warm sommer. Anyway, i was kindda unhappy because the cleaners have somewhat decided not to clean our rooms. We were instructed to leave the floor clear of chairs and shoes, in hopes that the cleaner will come.. Alas, she did not come... -___- Francios and i were like...( hey, wad is this man!!) so we came up with really lame reasons for them like, how the recent strike by the german train services have somewhat "motivated" them to also go on a strike... I came up with a really lame one.. I said that the cold air have somewhat froze them up...(-____-) ok.. i shut up...

i like the way sayuki reacted to the weather... she will be like saying"kalt, kalt, mir ist wirklich kalt" all the way from Goethe Institut to our domitories. Yes, 17 degrees!! i mean, I hope the temperature is distributed evenly to every parts od the world. Singapore is like sorching hot, and here we are in Germany, wearing a sweater in Sommer.. OH come on!!! What is this man!!

i was doing my studies when i suddenly got this strong urge to try and squeeze every new words that i have been learning into my brain. Yeah, i tried everything. I went on from super learning to sleep learning.. You name it, i'd tried it. Super learning is all about listening to classical music and memorizing words at the same time. Since GOD created music, i mean, its no harm given it a try right? I was recently on this classical cd borrowing frenzy that i will be one of the more popular borrowers with the librarian. She would look at me and say..."cd ausleihen??.. Dort können Sie selbst machen".. Apparently she got kindda irritated about helping me with the search of classical music cds because she sees me everyday.. there was this one time where i was like literally killing her to help me find mozart's cd collection in that pathetic few cds that there was in the library. haha! i am the librarian killer...

i recently changed a church..( nope, not from city harvest church)... I have changed from Markuskirche to Freie Evangelishe Gemeine Mannheim. It is a charismatic church, but of course, its is not as exciting as city harvest church, but it was okay for me. I just wanna find a church where i can practise what i have been brought up with with the rest of my church members. Actually frankly speaking, the germans do not really take alot of considerations into dressing up and getting ready and excited for church service like in city harvest church. They dont "really" have praise and worship, although i must say, there are alot of songs that i know how to sing... Yes, they are all in German, but I can sing alot of their songs, because they are just translation from the Original English songs. E.g. Shout to the Lord by Hillsong, Majesty by( icantremember) and many others:) good for me!! i sang all of them in german!

its 2211 right now in Germany... well, i guess i will go and bathe.. need to sleep well because i spent quite alot of time yesterday doing things i shouldnt be doing.. PLAYING COMPUTER GAMES!!!ok, its not so bad lar.. its only a day....oopsss -____-
